My journey began at the start of the pandemic when everything felt chaotic and out of my control. Struggling with burnout and stress, I craved control in at least one area of my life. That’s when I decided to take charge of my eating habits.
For years, I had been gaining weight, but I was paralyzed by the fear of failing. Then, something shifted within me—I became determined to succeed. With nothing to lose, I set off on a mission to create healthier eating habits.
As I tackled my eating habits, I realized that stress and burnout were at the root of much of my struggle. Once I learned how to manage stress and create a healthy work-life balance, everything else started to fall into place.
Along the way, I embraced self-care, let go of old fears, overcame stress, and found joy in working out. Today, I’m a happier, healthier version of myself—who has not only lost the weight but has kept it off for years.
I love being outside in the sunshine! Biking, walking, or just sitting outside taking in the fresh air - love it all!
I have 20+ years of culinary experience, including 16+ years as a professional Chef. Some of the highlights were being a private chef for 3, managing a commissary kitchen/bakery for a 7-location cafe, being the director of a large-scale food service operation that provided over a million meals per year...and cooking for my family will always be my favorite!
My favorite foods are peanut butter and sweet potatoes - obviously not together!
My Peloton Bike is one of my favorite things! I am truly grateful for the Peloton Community & definitely believe in the power of movement for mental & physical health!
